About Sandy:

A graduate of Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Sandy Thornton's zeal for event planning runs deep within her southern roots. While in the Sunshine State, she had the pleasure of working for the esteemed Walt Disney World Resort, Starwood Worldwide, Marriott International and the Orlando-based Kessler Collection Hotels. As a result, Sandy has continuously been immersed in the trends and styles of modern day events and weddings. Her flair for design, innovative thinking and intuitive service enables her to make your extraordinary day stress-free and memorable for all those present. She strives daily to further her event knowledge and education by attending regular meetings and classes provided by the nationally credited Association of Bridal Consultants and the National Association for Catering and Events. Currently, she is also seeking her Certified Special Events Professional accreditation through I.S.E.S., the International Special Events Society as well as her Sommelier certification. At POP! Events & Design, Sandy pledges her time and her loyalty to help make any event fantasy you may have become a custom-created reality.
